It seems like a while ago it was all the rage for B-List celebrities to have leaked videos end up on the Internet. To my best recollection, Pamela Anderson was the first one to have one leak. Others have followed and used it to propel them into a strange form of stardom were they are famous for simply being famous (Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton). And others released it in a failed ditched attempt to get their name out there again (such as Dustin Diamond… ewww).

With modern day technology, not only are we all capable of shooting videos we might regret, but we also have to worry about complete strangers capturing us at our worst, without us even knowing about it, and unleashing it onto the world via YouTube.

Your drunken night out. That one time you, unfortunately, yelled at someone in public. A failed joke taken completely out of context. Anything could potentially come back to haunt us in ways we didn’t expect. And we’re all quickly learning as a society that the Internet is quick to judge and slow to forgive.

What about you guys? Have any of you had a moment of fear where you thought something you regretted was being recorded?
