I moved back to the US a few months ago, after living in London for almost six years, and one question people keep asking me is “Why did you move back?” They made it sound like I’ve made a horrible choice. As if the USA is one of the worst places on the planet to live in.

And sure, the US has its fair share of problems, but so does the UK, despite what you might see on a BBC series. No country is perfect, and until you actually move there you truly have no idea what to expect.

But because I do open-mic stand-up comedy I thought I should answer this question for the crowd. What could be short, punchy, and something everyone could agree with? And then it hit me while I was tweeting one day:
