I was sitting at my desk one day and came to realize that a lot of my ideas revolved around Virgil owning a gun. He already showcased it once in the London Tube (subway system), so I figured I should show an “origin” tale of the day Virgil got his most prized possession. I’ll admit the strip itself isn’t very funny, but for some reason the image of a deranged Virgil giving the thumbs up while shooting at some unknown object (Lance or the cans) made me laugh really hard.
There is no deep meaning behing this strip about gun control, or violence in the home. I just liked the last panel.
